small will fit low waist/hip area of 24-31"

large/xl will fit low waist/hip area of 30-40"

since these do not sit at your waist, and are low waisted:
you will have to manually measure the point just above your hips (low waist area) to determine which size is suitable for you. as always, triple check the measurements
